VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Dreyfoos has been given a fantastic non-profit fundraising opportunity to run a bar during this year’s SunFest, which will be held May 5 - 7, 2023 in Downtown West Palm Beach. We are looking for volunteers to mix drinks, have fun, and raise money for our school. No previous experience required!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT VOLUNTEERING FOR SUNFEST
What type of volunteers are needed?
We have a number of different ways you can volunteer for SunFest! We need bartenders, barbacks, cashiers, and ID checkers. Just ask us and we will find a role for you!
Do I need bartending experience?
Not at all! Everything is very EASY, and simple-to-follow drink recipes will be provided.

Who can volunteer?
All volunteers must be 21 or older to volunteer. You can be a Dreyfoos parent or supporter - everyone is welcome!
Do I follow the schedule on the SunFest Volunteer Local sign-up or the schedule that is in the emails and info sheets from DSOA?
Always follow the schedule that comes from DSOA! We have found that our schedule works best!
I signed up on the Volunteer Local site but have not received a confirmation email; have I done something wrong?
You may have entered an incorrect email. Please contact Sherri at scrossey3@aol.com to confirm your registration.
Is parking free for volunteers?
Parking around Sunfest is NOT free, so we suggest carpooling or pre-purchasing parking at https://www.sunfest.com/parking.
How do I get my free ticket to SunFest?
The day you volunteer is your free entry to SunFest. If you are scheduled to work during the day, you can stay for the evening and vice versa.

Important Information for Volunteers:
All volunteers need to wear a Dreyfoos shirt. It may be any type of shirt as long as it says Dreyfoos. Need a shirt? Visit our online store now!
Please arrive on time for your shift to allow time for training and set-up. Allow yourself plenty of time BEFORE your shift starts to park, go through the gate, and arrive at the bar.

After you sign up using the link above, you will receive an email with instructions to sign up on the SunFest Volunteer Registration site as well. It is very important that you sign up as soon as you receive the email, following the directions given. Note: Our shifts are a bit different from the SunFest shifts, as we need to overlap our volunteers so that the new shift can be trained before the first shift leaves. Please follow the times you are signing up for on the PTSO's Sign-Up site.
Closer to the event, an additional email will be sent out with more details about your day of volunteering.
Regarding alcohol consumption - You may stay and enjoy SunFest after your shift, but you will need to bring a different shirt as they do not like the fundraising groups to drink in their organization's shirts. If you go to SunFest before your shift… no drinking, please.
