DSOA PTSO

The Dreyfoos School of the Arts Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) is a dedicated volunteer group committed to fostering collaboration and communication among parents, teachers, students, and school leadership. Our mission is to support and enhance the exceptional educational and artistic experience offered at Dreyfoos through meaningful engagement, resource development, and community-building initiatives.

What We Do

The PTSO plays a vital role in the life of our school by:

  • Supporting Teachers & Staff – We organize teacher appreciation events, classroom grants, and professional development resources to ensure our faculty feel valued and empowered.

  • Enhancing Student Experience – We provide funding and volunteer support for student performances, academic enrichment, recognition programs, and more.

  • Fostering Community Engagement – Through events, communications, and outreach, we build bridges between families, teachers, and the broader Dreyfoos community.

  • Raising Critical Funds – Our fundraising efforts help support programs and projects not covered by the school district budget, ensuring students have access to the tools and experiences they need to thrive.

Get Involved

We believe that every parent and guardian plays a crucial role in our students’ success. Whether you have an hour a week or just an hour a year, your involvement matters. Attend a meeting, join a committee, volunteer at an event, or simply become a member—there’s a place for everyone in the Dreyfoos PTSO.
